Devi Nimmala suffers from HIV and  lives in a remote village area with her two children, Nandu and Prasanth. Her husband, Ramu, passed away from HIV. As is often the case, after her husband died, Devi was abandoned by her in-laws. She returned to her home where her brother tried to support her and her two small children.

Unfortunately, her brother was badly injured in an accident and is no longer able to help. Devi attempts to go for odd jobs.

With the help of a sponsor and the FFA’s Andhra support program, Devi could begin to run a small shop for local villagers.
