Prameela and Threemurthulu live in a distant village with their two growing children. The joy of Prameela’s life is that they are blessed with two children who excel in their studies. Her greatest sadness is that Threemurthulu is an alcoholic and spends all his wages as a coolie worker on his drinking habit leaving Prameela to try and provide for the family.

The family have no land of their own and live in a rented one room house where they struggle to pay the rent and their electricity bill. Prameela goes for odd jobs but often her earnings are not enough to put food on the table. She is very willing to do more to support her family and with the support of a sponsor and the FFA’s Resource Program could begin selling rice in their village.

The family’s financial burden will only increase as their children grow. Now the children often have scholarships that help with their education expenses. However those opportunities will be less available as they advance to higher education which they are well qualified for and eager to undertake. Both children are at the top of their classes despite the difficult home life they have grown up in. They are the hope of their mother for a better future for them all.

The gift of a sponsor’s support would be an answer to this family’s prayers.
