Mary Diana and Joseph are a poor young couple who were leading a happy life with their two children. They live in a small hut they built with a loan.
Mary does tailoring work in her home. She loves her work and her ability to work from home so she can keep an eye on their children and take them to and fro school.
Her husband, Joseph, has always worked as a bus driver. On 23rd January 2023 he was returning from the Festal Mass of St. Sebastian on his bike and met with an accident. His bike crashed against a car and he was brutally injured. His hip was broken and underwent immediate surgery.
Since then he has been under strict medication and rest. He is doing physiotherapy and is now able to move about with the help of a walker. The doctors say that there might be a permanent difference in length between his two legs and poor Joseph is not sure whether he will be able to return to driving after his recovery. He worries he may not be able to sit for long periods like before. He is in great mental agony on how he will be able to provide for his family in the future.
The family is looking for kind support for their daily needs, children’s education, medication, and repayment of debts.
